About This Project
This project brought together two respected names in American woodturning: Carter and Son Toolworks and professional craftsman Mike Mahoney. Our goal was to create a library of visuals that not only showcased the tools themselves but also told the story of how they're used in the hands of a master.
We handled both product photography and behind-the-scenes process shots, capturing every detail from the polished aluminum handles to the fine shavings coming off the lathe. The session was designed to highlight craftsmanship, precision, and the real-world performance of Carter and Son's tools.
